Background and Expertise 
Ruby Jenco serves students in the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming, providing both academic advising and career services. Her work centers on holistic advising, helping students align their academic plans with their professional goals while connecting them to employers, professional and applied experiences, and campus resources. Ruby is dedicated to supporting students’ academic success and professional development throughout their time at UW. 

Prior to returning to Laramie, Ruby worked in Jackson, WY as a Lead Instructor at Teton Science Schools, where she specialized in place-based education and peer mentoring. In this role she developed her love for curriculum development, outdoor and experiential learning, and working with college-level students.  

When out of the office, Ruby enjoys kayaking, backpacking, camping, and birding.
