Chris grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, where he developed a love of the outdoors and a career centered on serving others. He spent more than a decade in remote and wilderness emergency medicine before finding a new way to support people through wilderness therapy. As a field guide in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, he saw firsthand how time outdoors, meaningful challenges, and strong mentorship help people grow.

Wyoming gave Chris a place to bring that same passion for adventure and service into his work full time. He now serves as the Individual Placement Program Coordinator for Wyoming Conservation Corps, supporting AmeriCorps members as they complete service projects across the state.

Outside of work, Chris spends as much time as possible on Wyoming's public lands with his family. He upland hunts with his dogs, Buff and Roux, fly fishes, and is always looking for the next place to explore.
