Wellness in the West and Wyoming on Wellness, similar in name, but vary in what and where services are offered. Let's break it down!
Wellness in the West
Wellness in the West is an on-campus initiative designed to connect ALL UW employees to meaningful, accessible support. Their goal is to build a thriving, resilient community where everyone feels empowered to seek support and prioritize their well-being.
The West Counseling Center offers free counseling to all employees. Walk-ins welcome!

Wyoming on Wellness
Wyoming on Wellness is an alternative resource for ALL BENEFITED employees who participate in a Cigna health plan. Designed to make the most of your Cigna health benefits.
Programs include: coaching, mental health, motivation alliance, financial wellness, Omada and community resources!
To take part in year-round wellness challenges, register online or download the Motivation Alliance app through Google Play or the Apple Store to your mobile phone.

Cigna Sponsored Wellness Resources - Open to Benefited Employees only

Cigna EAP is separate from MINES and Associates and is available to all benefited employees participating in the Cigna health plan. Log into cigna.com and click on the coverage tab. Assistance can be found in the following areas:
- Licensed clinicians to help with a wide variety of concerns, from family and financial issues to substance use, emotional health, and stress.
- Access to work/life resources.

Cigna provides a multitude of resources for all benefited employees participating in the Cigna health plan. MyCigna.com and myCigna mobile app help manage your health spending, and offer programs that help improve your health. To learn more about wellness resources available to Cigna participants, log into cigna.com and click on the wellness tab.

Studies show that behavioral problems, such as depression, can contribute to heart disease. Many physical conditions can worsen with stress, substance use and other behavioral health issues. Cigna Total Behavioral Health® program can provide help to employees who participate in a Cigna health plan.
