Online Resource Changes: What You Need to Know

HOW to access uW Online Resources statewide 

This June, the University of Wyoming Libraries will update how we manage access to online resources available statewide. Here's what this means for you:

  • If you're using a library computer at UW or the Wyoming community colleges, you'll still be able to access resources as you always have—no changes needed.
  • If you're at a library in another part of the state, you'll be asked to log in using your WYLD library card number and PIN to access online resources.
  • If you're accessing library resources from home or another remote location, you'll continue to log in using your WYLD library card and PIN, or another existing login method.
These updates are being made to ensure consistent and equitable access across Wyoming and to give local libraries more control over how their communities connect with digital resources.
