The Western Thunder Hat Club is the fundraising account for the marching band. Housed in the University of Wyoming Foundation, supporters of the band can donate to the band to ensure that UW students have a dynamic college marching band experience. The band participates in the Annual Giving Day Campaign and has raised funds for increased student scholarships, new band equipment, uniforms, and travel opportunities.

The band would like to thank the McMurry family and the McMurry Foundation, as well all supporters of The Hat Club for their continued support of the WTMB. Without their generous contributions, we would not be able to function at the level we are at now. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
