These are among the activities scheduled Sept. 8-13 at the University of Wyoming:

Tuesday, Sept. 8, 6-9 p.m -- Opening for an exhibition of selected paintings by Evelyn Corthell Hill, Centennial Complex lobby. The exhibition can be seen through Sept. 25.

Wednesday, Sept. 9, noon -- University of Washington Professor Mark M. Benjamin will discuss "Micro-Granular Adsorptive Membrane Filtration: A Whole New World of Treatment Technologies?" during 2009-2010 Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP) Distinguished Lecture, Room 310 of the UW Classroom Building.

Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1:30-3:30 p.m. -- Coe Library Resource Fair in rooms 216 and 219 of the library.

Wednesday, Sept. 9, 5:30 p.m. -- The UW Police Department bicycle and unclaimed property auction, north parking lot of the new UWPD building at the corner of Flint and 15th streets, formerly the UniWyo Credit Union.

Wednesday, Sept. 9, 8 p.m. -- Molina Soleil and Aju, a hip-hop/eclectic duo, will perform a free concert in Wyoming Union ballroom.

Thursday, Sept. 10, 10:30 a.m. -- Ribbon cutting ceremony to dedicate the new Cheney International Center, located in the former Student Health Building south of Prexy's Pasture.

Friday, Sept. 11, 6-8 p.m. Opening reception for four new exhibitions at the UW Art Museum:
"Ichiro: Netsuke, A Life's Work,"; "moss doesn't grow on rolling stones . . . a vision of nature by Brian Burkhardt"; "Kwang-Young Chun: Aggregations"; and "In Pursuit of Equality." Netsuke scholar Norman Sandfield will present a gallery walk through and sign books Friday, Sept. 11, at 4 p.m. Kwang-Young Chun will present an art talk Thursday, Sept. 10, at 6:30 p.m. and a gallery walk through on Friday, Sept. 11, at 10:30 a.m.
