2014 Nursing Education Summit

"Concept-Based Curriculum in Nursing"

Wyoming Nursing Education Summit 2014

Plans set for annual Wyoming Nursing Education Summit

The 2014 Wyoming Nursing Education Summit is set for May 19-20 in Riverton at Central Wyoming College. "Concept-Based Curriculum in Nursing" is the topic of choice for this year's summit, planned and supported by the Wyoming Center for Nursing and Health Care Partnerships (WCNHCP). The registration deadline is May 2, 2014. There is no registration charge.

Presenters at the summit come from the University of New Mexico College of Nursing. Presenter Jenny Vacek, MSN, RN, consults nationally and internationally on the implementation of conceptual curricula, course design, and innovative teaching strategies, according to the WCNHCP. Also presenting is Debra Brady, PhD, RN, who has served on numerous national- and state-level committees on nursing and nursing education.

This conference encourages attendance by nurse educators, practicing nurses, students, and clinical agency partners. More about the summit and the presenters, including agenda and registration form, can be found in the brochure linked here:  2014 Nursing Education Summit Brochure.
