----------

This fall Wyoming Nurses Association and UW Student Nurses Association brought in nurses from various nursing careers to compose a mentoring panel for nursing students. The nurses in attendance were (pictured, from left to right): Jeanine Niemoller (geriatric nursing), Nicole Miller (Med/Surg nursing), Sean Rossetter (perioperative nursing), Mark Holder (Director, Behavioral Health Services), Sarah Stepans (school nursing), Melanie Pearce (public health nursing), Johnna French (public health nursing), and Deb Dawson (family and maternal/child nursing). The nurses took turns telling about their specific career and how to prepare for such. Students then had an opportunity to question the individual nurses. WNA and Nursing plan to sponsor a mentoring panel annually to assist and encourage students in their search for a career fit.
