ARTISAN Program

Accelerating Research Translation Through Student Leadership

Empowering undergraduates to drive research beyond the lab and into the world.

What is the ARTISAN Program?

The Accelerating Research Translation Integrated Student Ambassador Network (ARTISAN) is a prestigious, nationwide initiative funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). At the University of Wyoming (UWyo), the ARTISAN Program empowers students across all disciplines to help translate groundbreaking research into real-world solutions that benefit the economy and society.

We are building a vibrant student-led network that connects research with impact—whether that’s in health, energy, environment, agriculture, public policy, or community innovation. Students work closely with mentors, faculty, entrepreneurs, and the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) to become active contributors in UWyo’s innovation ecosystem.
