Inside, you’ll find a spacious infield perfect for weightlifting, a 100-foot stretch of turf and plenty of court space for any pick-up games you may want to play. Plus, our iconic rock wall provides a thrilling way to challenge yourself and unwind between classes. Whether you're interested in a joining us for a fun and challenging fitness class or just want to enjoy a relaxing stroll with a friend on the indoor track, Half Acre has everything you need to stay active and healthy.

Taking care of your mental health is a key aspect of your overall well-being. UW knows the importance of mental health and our Campus Recreation Wellness Center provides a wide variety of support for students, staff and UW community members. We offer educational resources such as workshops on meditation, breathwork and mindfulness, along with dedicated spaces for relaxation and stress relief. Special events, like therapy animal visits, are another way we encourage our community to prioritize mental health. Whether you need just a quiet moment to unwind or are looking for more professional guidance, the Wellness Center is a valuable resource to help you maintain balance in a busy world.

Access to UW’s amazing Campus Recreation facilities is a top perk for students, staff and faculty. Whether staying fit, relaxing or socializing, there’s something for everyone to support your well-being and connect with the UW community.

- 6-Month: $174.25
- 4-Month: $140.00
- 1-Month: $45.00
- Payroll Deduction: $29.04 (monthly recurring)
- Daily: $7.00
Students enrolled in 6+ on-campus credit hours and paying the Student Services Fee get automatic Campus Rec membership. Non-fee-paying students and spouses can purchase memberships.

Campus Recreation Membership includes the use of all activity areas at Half Acre, including the climbing wall, golf simulator, rest and recharge pods, all group fitness classes and more!
Any time you are using a Campus Recreation facility, bring your WyoOne ID card as proof of your membership.
Daily guest passes can be purchased by a UW community member with a valid WyoOne ID card. Passes are $7.00 and are sold in increments of 1, 2, 5, 10, 15 and 20.

Membership Portal
The UW Campus Recreation Membership Portal is your go-to hub for all Campus Rec activities. From booking a massage chair to reserving golf tee times, it makes managing your fitness and wellness needs easy. With so many resources at the Half Acre Gymnasium and Wellness Center, you won’t want to miss a thing. Stay connected and organized, all in one place.
The climbing wall at Half Acre is a favorite for climbers of all levels! Enjoy bouldering, lead climbing and top-rope climbing, plus take advantage of our climbing clinics to improve your skills.
Corbett Pool is open to Half Acre members during select hours. Check the schedule, bring your gear for lap swim or sign up for one of our aquatics-based group fitness classes.
Keep your golf game strong year-round with our TruGolf Sport simulator! UW students, faculty, staff and dependents with an active Campus Rec membership can sign up for tee times after a brief training.
The Half Acre Wellness Center & Gymnasium offers plenty of court space for sports! Check the schedule—courts are available throughout the day, though they may be reserved for intramurals and other activities.
