Honors College faculty members provide students with an interdiscplinary academic experience through culitvating inclusive and supportive scholarly environments in and outside of the classroom. Honors faculty challenge students to think ethically, creatively and collaboratively to promote discovery.

HONORS COLLEGE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES
Interdisciplinary perspectives: Students will demonstrate Interdisciplinary perspectives by comparing, contrasting, and interpreting the relationships between multiple disciplines.
Applied knowledge: Students will apply knowledge and skills, both collaboratively and individually, by utilizing experiential learning.
Communication skills: Students will demonstrate effective communication skills using a multitude of platforms for a variety of audiences.
Global perspectives: Students will cultivate an understanding of diversity and the importance of global cultural competence (students will fulfill this learning outcome by taking Global Perspectives (formerly Nonwestern) Honors upper division courses. Research or creative competency: Students will undertake a coherent research or creative project to contribute to the creation of new knowledge.
Critical thinking: Students will employ critical thinking to work towards solving problems of the future.

Honors College Deadlines and Guidelines for AY 24-25 are the following. Please note that the annual RTP and Annual Review timelines are subject to deadlines set by Academic Affairs. For FTRC Track Faculty undergoing RTP Committee review, the deadlines for the next academic year are announced in August. For faculty members up for Annual Review only, the deadlines are announced in December
Travel/Purchase
Need to make a purchase or are traveling? Download the Travel Request Form or the Purchase Request Form and follow the instructions outlined. Submit to Dean and Business Manager for approval prior to purchasing.
*Please note that faculty should make requests of publishers for desk copies of textbooks rather than purchasing through the college.
Global Perspectives
Is your course investigating global perspectives? Apply to attach a Global Perspectives attribute to your course to help students fulfill their Honors requirement.
