BACKGROUND & RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Francesca (Frankie) Genoese is an Assistant Professor specialized in Rehabilitation Science within the Division of Kinesiology and Health at the University of Wyoming. Her research interests involve investigating the impact of biopsychosocial factors on health outcomes among individuals with sport-related injuries, such as anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, as well as exploring the use of immersive technologies and serious games to evaluate and improve outcomes after injury. Dr. Genoese is also a certified and licensed athletic trainer with prior clinical experience in the secondary school setting.
