UW Mortar Board Honors 'Top Profs'
Social Work Assistant Professor Margaret Holland named Mortar Board ‘Top Prof’ for
exceptional contribution to the University of Wyoming and service to the students.
This award is a student-driven selection process that allows students to acknowledge
faculty members who have significantly impacted their lives. Congratulations, Dr.
Holland!
In November 2023, the Associated Master’s Social Work Students of Wyoming (AMSW2), the graduate student group in Division of Social Work, hosted a successful food drive to support the University of Wyoming’s Food Share Pantry in CHS and across campus, supporting UW’s students who face food insecurity. The student group collected 360 pounds of food donations (i.e., dry goods, canned food/meals, and packaged items/meals/snacks, and condiments etc.) including donations from local businesses in town. The donations were distributed between the newly formed CHS Food Share Cabinet and UW’s Food Share Pantry. Kudos to the students!
