Part-time hourly non-benefited employees are paid on a biweekly basis. Full-time benefited faculty and staff, non-benefited salaried (like graduate assistants and temporary lecturers) are paid on the last working day of the month. There are exceptions to paydays, so please check 'Payroll Deadlines and Pay Dates' for updated information. If you are unsure which employee category you fall under, contact your department or call the Payroll Office at 307-766-2217.
Determine if you are exempt or non-exempt by reviewing your offer letter.
Salaried Non-Exempt employees are required to complete a monthly Time Card which requires supervisor approval. All hours worked and all absence hours, up to the “Time Period End” date noted.
Salaried Exempt employees do not submit a Time Card but are required to report all Absences (sick, vacation, etc).
If you are a salaried non-exempt employee, your time cards MUST equal 40 hours per
week.
Time cards are not required for GA’s, Temp Lecturers, Salary Non-Benefitted or Exempt
employees.
Absences are required to be entered into WyoCloud for all Non-Exempt and Exempt Benefited
employees.
If your department uses TimeClock Plus or AIM please check with your manager on departmental
processes regarding timecards – these are imported on a biweekly basis.
Payroll can only reopen hourly employees time cards for editing outside of our payroll
processing dates.

Payroll understands that there may occasionally be delays in submitting requests for approval in WyoCloud due to extenuating circumstances. While late award compensation requests are not automatically rejected, they do create a significant burden on the Payroll Office and, as such, will generally not be accepted.
To help manage this issue, Payroll has partnered with several central business offices. These offices have created internal business processes and, with full support from Payroll, have taken on the responsibility of reviewing and either approving or rejecting late submissions based on their own established policies.
