Yuri Dahnovsky

Dr. Yuri Dahnovsky is a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

The Dahnovsky group specializes in the theory of electron transfer reactions in polar environments (the transition of an electron between two localized electron states) and between delocalized and localized states such as in molecular wires, tunneling microscopes and dye sensitized solar cells. There is also ongoing work on the physical and chemical properties of adsorbed molecules on metal surfaces in organic electronics.
