Jing Zhou

Dr. Jing Zhou is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry.

The Zhou group research focuses on the fundamental understanding the structure-reactivity relationships of heterogeneous nano-catalysts in catalytic processes related to energy production and environmental pollutant control using the full complement of modern surface science techniques, and hence provides crucial knowledge for the rational design of new catalytic materials. Current research projects investigate doped ceria-supported metal nanocatalysts for hydrogen production from biomass reforming processes.
