Madeline was raised in Laramie, Wyoming. Growing up in Wyoming, she learned the importance of community, fostering her eagerness to contribute to equitable healthcare that is available to those right here in our wonderful state. Madeline attended the University of Wyoming where she earned her bachelor's degree in physiology and psychology with a minor in neuroscience. During this time, she conducted research exploring neurological gene expression and cell-type distribution in mice, studied Buddhism in Thailand, and gained insight into global health during a medical internship in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Madeline then went on to work as a behavioral health technician here in Wyoming, gaining a deeper understanding of the uniqueness of the human experience and health disparities affecting our community. Madeline loves being involved in the community through the Zonta Club of Laramie and Big Brothers Big Sisters where she has mentored her little sister throughout the past four years, watching her flourish as she enters her teenage years. In her free time, Madeline can be found skiing, camping, paddle boarding, playing pickleball, or relaxing with a good book and a cup of coffee.
