Alexis Richardson

Alexis grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Spanish. During the pandemic, she took a leap of faith and moved to Jackson, Wyoming, sight unseen — an experience that strengthened her independence and deepened her appreciation for community, the outdoors, and balance in life.

Alexis was inspired to pursue medicine by the legacy of her late grandfather, a rural Mississippi physician whose compassion and dedication to caring for others still impact the community decades later. He was a staunch advocate for rural access to medicine, something Alexis hopes to continue. Hearing stories about the lives he touched helped shape the kind of physician she hopes to become.

Outside of medicine, Alexis enjoys strength training, pickleball, fly fishing, backpacking, and traveling (especially for concerts). She even flew to Paris to see Taylor Swift during the Eras Tour!
