Jarom was born and raised in Burlington, Wyoming and loved growing up hunting, fishing, and trapping with his brothers. After graduating high school during the COVID-19 pandemic, he served a two-year church mission in Mozambique where he saw firsthand the effects of a cholera epidemic that inspired him to return home and pursue a career in medicine. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a physiology degree while also working in a research lab focused on studying circadian rhythms. After graduating, he worked at the local Laramie hospital as a medical assistant in the ENT clinic. In his free time, Jarom continues to love fly fishing, working with his family, and appreciating all that Wyoming’s great outdoors have to offer. He looks forward to serving the people of Wyoming as a physician and hopes to expand access to quality care in rural areas.
