Isabel Richardson

Isabel was born and raised in Laramie, Wyoming. She attended Michigan State University, and earned a degree in physiology with a minor in art history and visual culture. While studying the human body, she also spent time working with a campus ministry and teaching biology classes, dedicating hundreds of hours to helping others grow. Outside of the classroom Isabel spends much of her free time leading backpacking trips, hiking with her husband and puppy, and exploring new places in nature. She also enjoys creative hobbies, especially book rebinding and other hands-on artistic projects that allow her to combine creativity with attention to detail. She is excited to join the WWAMI community and looks forward to building meaningful connections while continuing to explore the intersection of science, medicine, and the humanities throughout her medical education.
