Lachlan Johnson

Lanny is a 6^th generation member of his Star Valley family with deep local roots. He loved growing up nestled in the beautiful mountains of his hometown. Much of his education was in his outdoor classroom, fishing, hunting, and hiking. After high school, Lanny attended Western Wyoming Community College and then served a religious mission in the Dominican Republic. It was on his religious mission where he decided to pursue a career in medicine. After his mission, Lanny returned to Western and earned his associates degree in natural sciences before transferring to the University of Wyoming and earning a degree in molecular biology and a minor in honors. While at Western, Lanny married his wife and they have enjoyed many fishing trips together and have just recently expanded their family with a beautiful baby girl. When Lanny isn’t in the outdoors with his family, he’s usually playing his instruments, cooking, or just playing games with his family and friends.
