Biography

Cedric Reverand specializes in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century English literature; he has published extensively in the area, especially on Dryden and Pope, but also on art, architecture, and music in the period. He is also the editor of one of the leading journals in the field, Eighteenth-Century Life. His hobbies include playing music (jazz on the piano, baroque music on the harpsichord—see illustration), as well as photography (see www.cedricreverand.com).
