Biography
Janice joined the English Department in 1975 and retired in 2009. Her fields of interest were modern British fiction, Japanese literature, and post-colonial fiction. Among her publications are The Short Fiction of D. H. Lawrence and Edwardian Stories of Divorce, both from Rutgers University Press. She served as Director of the Honors Program, Assistant Dean of Arts and Sciences, Director of Women's Studies, and Chair of English. Upon retiring, she served as a member, then president, of the Board of Directors of the Wyoming Outdoor Council.
