Background and Expertise
Nicole Gautier is a research scientist with the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources. As graduate coordinator, she advises Haub graduate students and provides programmatic and teaching support. Nicole is an experienced facilitator, and occasionally assists with Ruckelshaus Institute collaborative projects. She is an alumni of the Teton Science School graduate program, and continues to act as a TSS liaison. Her graduate work at the University of Wyoming explored the development of a curriculum framework for field studies programs, inspired by a study abroad experience in Patagonia. Before joining the Haub School, she worked as a restoration field tech and as an environmental and outdoor educator. In her free time, Nicole enjoys rock climbing and exploring Wyoming’s wild places.
