Background and Expertise

Iree Wheeler is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Wildlife & Wilderness Recreation Lab. Iree’s research focuses on visitor use management and recreation policy in Parks and Protected Areas. In the Wildlife & Wilderness Recreation Lab, Iree leads projects regarding sustainable recreation on public lands. Specifically, she is conducting research with the National Park Service to improve visitor experiences in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah.
