Why I joined the Research Team:
I wanted to gain more research experience and I was interested in the interdisciplinary nature of the research in this lab. This seemed like an excellent opportunity to gain more experience while collaborating with people from different fields of study.
What are your future goals, and will your work with the team be related or helpful?:
A topic that I am interested in is neurodevelopmental disorders, like ADHD, Autism, and ID. People with neurodevelopmental disorders often have higher prevenances of type two diabetes; therefore, I was interested in learning more about prevention measures for type 2 diabetes.
