Unmanned Aerial Systems, or aerial “drones” as they are commonly referred to, are rapidly becoming indispensable tools across the transportation industry. In recent years drones have been proven to increase safety, save time, and decrease costs while enhancing the quality of work outputs in a wide variety of tasks in the transportation field. Drones have become more accessible than ever through declining costs, advancements in user-friendliness, and increased versatility. In this publication, the Wyoming T2 Center has assembled a variety of information and resources intended to help transportation professionals in Wyoming “get up to speed” with this expanding technology.
