Emily Genoff, MPA, EdD, instructs Introduction to Health Institution Leadership. She has more than three decades of Wyoming‑based experience in health policy, organizational leadership, and health services delivery. She began her career as a journalist covering healthcare issues before earning her MPA from the University of Wyoming and serving as a program evaluator and policy analyst for the Wyoming Legislature and the Wyoming Healthcare Commission.
Dr. Genoff later transitioned to the private sector, promoting access to mental health resources and now serves on the leadership team of a Wyoming hospital specializing in behavioral health. She completed her doctorate in organizational leadership and healthcare administration at Grand Canyon University. She also obtained UW’s graduate certificate in online teaching. Dr. Genoff’s teaching is grounded in helping students apply academic learning and personal strengths to become effective leaders in their workplaces and communities. She also serves on nonprofit boards focused on at‑risk youth and rural healthcare challenges.
