John Matthews

John Matthews is a distinguished entrepreneur, executive leader, and educator with over two decades of experience building successful businesses across diverse industries. His career has included the development of global start-ups and the strategic leadership of high-growth enterprises, with a proven track record in driving profitability, market expansion, and operational excellence.

 

As a professor at the University of Wyoming, John teaches leadership in the graduate program for Health Services Administration. He brings real-world experience into the classroom to help students develop the strategic mindset and leadership skills needed to succeed in today’s evolving organizations.

 

John holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a BSBA from East Carolina University. Outside the classroom, he enjoys hiking with his Great Pyrenees, Walter, boxing, and spending quality time with his family. A passionate traveler, he has explored six continents and over 20 countries, including the remote landscapes of Antarctica.
