Dr Paul C Langley is a health economist. He is based in Tucson AZ. Following undergraduate studies in the UK in the early 1960s, Dr Langley completed his graduate studies in Canada. Dr Langley has now over 50 years experiences in university teaching and research in the UK, Canada, Australia and the United States. His primary interests are in pharmaceutical value claim assessment, Rasch modelling and representational measurement theory. These focus on the failure over 60 years for health technology assessment to recognize the axioms of fundamental measurement. He has extensive publications in these areas, together with consulting and industry experiences. He is presently an Adjunct Professor, Graduate Faculty in the College of Pharmacy, University of Minnesota
