Shaun Phillips

Dr. Phillips currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Rincon campus of Tucson Medical Center and System Vice President for Performance Management for TMC Health.  Previously, he spent nearly 5 years with Lifepoint Health in CEO and COO roles in Arizona.  Prior to that, he spent 10 years in executive leadership for a not-for-profit, integrated health system operating in southwest Michigan and northern Indiana. Additionally, he had nearly 10 years of experience in various pharmacy leadership roles at a multi-state, Catholic healthcare organization.

 

As a licensed pharmacist in Michigan and Arizona, he is a graduate with the highest distinction from Ferris State University College of Pharmacy and Honors Program. He completed an internship and a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon, MI.  He also completed intensive research training in pharmacology and holds an MBA in integrated management from Michigan State University.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).  Currently, he is working on a PhD in organizational development at the University of Arizona.
