Construction Management

Students have two options for different types of Construction Management Certification.

  1. Students not majoring in the construction management degree have an option to get a minor/certificate in Construction Management from the University of Wyoming. This includes completing a 15 credit hour prefix course structure, more information is found below in the weblink.

  2. Students majoring in the Construction Management degree program at the University of Wyoming have an option of applying for external certification after they graduate through the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) organization. This is called the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.

The University of Wyoming is now accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) and meets the accreditation requirements for students that want to seek CCM certification. As of this point certification is not a requirement to apply for Construction Management positions in the U.S. states, districts, and territories. UW does not guarantee that these certifications will lead to licensure or employment.
