Social Work Licensure

The University of Wyoming Division of Social Work degree program leads to licensure after graduation. The Division of Social work is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education's (CSWE) and for more information on the accrediting body please see the website here: https://www.cswe.org/accreditation/. Students will be required to pass the the examination by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB). For information about the exam please visit the following website: https://www.aswb.org/exam/getting-ready-for-the-exam/. UW cannot guarantee licensure in any U.S. State, District or Territory as applicants are reviewed on a case by case basis.
