Creating Styled Bulleted Lists

Site editors can create a bulleted list of items using the option in the WYSIWYG toolbar while editing page content. The styling of the gold square bullet points is already built in to the CMS.

You can also check out all the styles and formats available for text editing inside Modern Campus CMS.

Bulleted or numbered list

Site editors can use the options in the WYSIWYG toolbar to create bulleted or numbered lists. Using bullet points can help break up long amounts of text and display it as a punctuated list. Using numbered lists will indicate that these points are items that are being presented in a specific order.

The use of these types of lists will draw attention to the information. However, site editors should avoid over-using these types of lists. Too many punctuated lists can make your page appear cluttered.

misaligned bullet list

On some migrated pages, bullet lists have become misaligned, where the text is not in the same line as the bullet point. To fix this, you'll select the entire list. Once this is highlighted, you'll click the bullet list button in the WYSIWYG menu to remove it and then click it again to add it back. That should fix the misalignment issue. If you still have issues with this, please submit a help ticket by using the Request Help gadget in the CMS while you are on the page with the issue.
