Biography

Before coming to Wyoming, Cameron Borgholthaus was an assistant professor of management at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He received a Ph.D with an emphasis in strategic management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2021 and a BS in applied economics from Idaho State University in 2012. His research focuses on strategic leadership and corporate governance, placing particular emphasis on CEO personality, the dyadic relationship between a firm's CEO and its board of directors, and the effects of TMT/board diversity. He is originally from Pocatello, ID and is excited to bring his wife and two children – Ella (10) and Brad (7) – to the Laramie area. He is an avid disc golfer and enjoys smoking (and eating) a variety of meats.
