Molly Burchett is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Wyoming. Molly’s research centers on behavioral marketing strategy and sales. More specifically, her research focuses on business-to-business sales strategy as well as uncovering effective influence techniques for business-to-government and business-to-consumer selling. Prior to completing her Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky, Molly worked for four years as a sales representative and business development director in the financial service industry and one year managing strategic initiatives for a manufacturing company. She has six years of experience teaching persuasive communication and sales courses in higher education and was a fellow at the AMA/Sheth Foundation and ISBM Business Marketing Doctoral Consortiums. In addition to her Ph.D., Molly holds a B.A. (2009) in Business Administration from Transylvania University and a M.A. (2014) in Communication from the University of Kentucky.
