Biography
Maria Jenks has served in senior executive roles, leading supply chain and finance
functions at major corporations. Her corporate career included over 25 years in the
energy sector, as well as 9 years in the retail and banking industries. Her experience
includes large construction projects, technology and enterprise transformation projects,
audit and risk management, strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Maria has testified
in front of regulatory agencies and presented at industry conferences on a wide range
of topics including supply chain risk management, supply chain operations, digital
transformation and analytics, merger integrations, business process improvement, internal
audit, leadership development, and sustainability. Her leadership has extended to
the community as well, having served on the boards of a number of nonprofit organizations.
Maria currently serves as the coordinator for the Supply Chain Program and faculty
advisor for the Supply Chain and Logistics Club. Maria has worked on various energy
supply chain research projects. She collaborated with Wyoming Manufacturing Works
on supply chain projects under the SCOIN grant, including a major research project
on opportunities in the nuclear value chain for Wyoming manufacturers.
