Kent Noble is an award-winning educator, speaker, and advocate for ethical leadership. As the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Service Chair at the University of Wyoming, he empowers students and professionals to lead with integrity, purpose, and personal accountability. His practical, story-driven approach to ethics has impacted audiences nationwide—from classrooms to boardrooms.

Kent created "What Do You Stand For?", a popular presentation—and now an electronic publication—that helps individuals develop their personal code of ethics. He has also designed workshops on personal branding, purposeful leadership, and values-driven culture.

He is the co-founder of the Center for Principle-Based Leadership and Ethics, the creator of the Bill Daniels Ethical Leadership Award, and the founder of SparkTank, a student-led initiative that has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to local nonprofits and generated $3.2 million in economic impact, including the creation of 30 new jobs.

Kent serves on the boards of the John P. Ellbogen Foundation, NASBA Center for the Public Trust, Millennium Bridge Capital, the Better Business Bureau of Northern Colorado and Wyoming, the Scarlett Family Foundation, and the UW Alumni Association.

His honors include the Professor of the Year Award, Campus Being a Difference Award, Impact Award, Outstanding Service and Dedication Award, and multiple "Top Prof" recognitions.

At the heart of Kent's work is his aspirational personal code:

  • Remember, at the end of the day, it's all about God, family, friends, and purpose.
  • Figure out why you're here—then go get it done.
  • Effort and attitude can trump intelligence, but nothing trumps integrity.
  • Make the room better when you enter it.
  • Find the humor and share it.
  • Live each moment like your kids are watching.
  • Don't make it more difficult than it really is.
  • Strive for win-win situations.
  • Bet on those who buy into the half-full theory.
  • Some things matter, some things don't—don't confuse the two.
  • All it takes is all you've got.

While Kent is deeply committed to his work, his greatest fulfillment comes from his family. He and his wife Leslie are the proud parents of three adult children—Lindsey, Tate, and Ella—who continue to inspire them every day.
