Biography
Ashley is originally from Virginia and lived in North Carolina for her undergrad and grad studies before making the move to Wyoming. She began formally teaching online in 2016 and has since taught in-person, hybrid, and online classes in composition and rhetoric; technical and professional writing; editing; and composition pedagogy. Ashley has worked in Writing/Learning Centers and in professional editing/proofreading positions since 2013, enjoying the opportunity to join the writer in their writing journey at whatever stage of the process. Their research/teaching interests include rhetorical/composition theory and practice, writing center theory and practice, writing program administration, technical and professional writing and pedagogy.
