Dr. Schumaker’s research is focused on Public Health interventions especially for diseases of One Health importance. He applies principles of disease management, diagnostic development/validation, transmission dynamics and risk assessment, and outbreak investigation to disease issues important to Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain West.
