Donald Veal

Donald Veal (1981-1987)

Veal served as the President of the University of Wyoming from 1981-1987.  A native of Chance, South Dakota, he first came to the University as an instructor in civil engineering in 1958, pursuing graduate studies at the same time leading to an M.S. degree in 1960 and a Ph.D. degree in 1964.  In 1971 he became a professor and head of the Department of Atmospheric Science and has presented expert testimony before the United States Senate.
