The new school aims to provide University of Wyoming students, faculty and staff, and Wyoming businesses and citizens with the computational tools, skills and approaches to drive transformation and innovation in the state. The School of Computing will champion broader efforts to make the University of Wyoming more digital, inclusive, interdisciplinary, and entrepreneurial through computing partnerships across Wyoming.

The School of Computing is a component of the Digital Infrastructure and Technology category of the Wyoming Innovation Partnership (WIP). Through the WIP, the School of Computing has been able to fast track its start-up and is focusing on activities such as industrial partnerships, training, and community college collaboration that will have the most impact on economic development. |
