All School Withdrawal

First Gen Scholars
First Gen Scholars is a peer mentoring program designed to help first-year students connect to the resources, activities, and programs available at the University of Wyoming.

Food Pantry
Located across campus, food share cabinets are a student-led effort to address food insecurity. The formation of the taskforce was inspired by this student-led approach!

Free drop-in tutoring center for students enrolled in lower division math courses (below 3000 level)

Math Placement Exam
The MPE is an assessment to determine a student’s current math skill level, and it is an important tool to help guide you and your advisor to the appropriate math course for your skill level. 
Students can get help wtih Math Placement Prep at the Mathematics & Statistics Center or the STEP Tutor Center.

Traditional law enforcement functions are numerous non-enforcement activities, which include; fingerprinting, VIN inspections, lights-out surveys, money escorts, pick-up and storage of lost and found items, as well as other services that benefit the community.

Pregnant & Parenting Students
Students who are pregnant, have a pregnany-related condition, or are new parents may be eligible for additional academic support. Pregnancy related conditions include pregnancy, childbirth, false pregnancy, miscarriage, termination of a pregnancy, conditions arising in connection with pregnancy, and recovery from any of the listed conditions.

Poke Pride Center
Includes research library containing GLBTQ publications, magazines, videos, and newsletters, leisure/social area to relax in, donuts for diversity, panels, town hall meetings

Reinstatement
Students wishing to petition for academic reinstatement, who miss the petition deadline due to  documentable extenuating circumstances, may contact the Dean of Students Office. The Dean of Students will review the extenuating circumstances that impacted the student's ability to complete the petition on time, and if approved the student will be referred back to ACES. If not approved, the student will need to wait until the following semester to submit their petition for reinstatement.

Sexual Misconduct
The Dean of Students Office investigates reports of student behavior that may violate UW's Sexual Misconduct Policy.  Additionally, students who have experienced sexual misconduct, but who are not ready to make a report, can still receive confidential support from the Stop Violence Program and the Albany County SAFE Project. Visit the Stop Violence site for more information.[BROKEN LINK]

Test Anxiety
This PowerPoint presentation can help students with tst taking strategies and stress management. 
Accommodations are not available for test anxiety unless another condition is present and a contributing factor.  If this is the case, please apply for DSS and submit supporting documentation.  

The University Counseling Center also offers various resources to help manage test anxiety. Pamphlets & additional information are located by the east entrance of Knight Hall and from Academic Services in 314 Knight Hall.
