Instructions for students

  • Click the button above to access WyoWeb
  • Click "Students" under WyoRecords
  • You will be prompted to log into your WyoRecords
  • Click "Student Account"
  • Click "Student Financial Portal"



Note: Your student will need to set up an authorized user account for you through their Student Financial Portal.

Pay Your Bill In Person or By Mail


Pay in person at the Cashier's Office (Knight Hall 170) with cash, check, or money order. To make a payment in person, visit the Cashier's Office between the hours of 9 am and 12 pm, Monday through Friday; outside of those hours, payments can be left in the drop box located in Knight Hall between the Cashier's Office and the service elevator. Please include your W number with your payment. If you need change, reach out by email (, call 307-766-2313, or knock on the employee door.

Pay by mail by sending your payment to:

Please make checks payable to University of Wyoming.  On the memo line of your check, please include your W-number (so your payment can be applied to the correct account).

If your payment is greater than the balance on your account, the excess amount will be refunded to you through the refund method of your choice. For refunding questions, please review our FAQ Page, our Refunds Page, or contact Student Financial Services.

What to know about paying your bill online

  • If you pay with an E-Check (ACH withdrawal), it is free of charge
  • If you pay with a Debit Card, there is a non-refundable flat rate fee of $4.95
  • If you pay with a Credit Card, there is a non-refundable convenience fee of 2.95% (or minimum $3.00). International credit card transactions have a 4.25% fee. 
    • Accepted credit cards include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover

The University of Wyoming has teamed up with TransferMate to provide a streamlined and secure payment method through your student account that also reduces bank fees and improves your payment experience. With TransferMate, students can pay tuition and fees in their local currency from nearly any country.

What are the benefits?

Get started by logging into your student financial portal through WyoWeb, select make a payment, choose TransferMate from the dropdown menu, and follow the prompts.

The University of Wyoming does not allow overpayments. If you transfer more funds than what is due on the student account, we may return the total or overpayment amount to the originating bank. Students may opt to keep the credit on their student account to cover future charges. Overpayments will not be refunded.
