Steps to Confirm Your Enrollment

Confirming your enrollment is the first step toward joining the University of Wyoming. Follow these four simple steps to secure your place, access vital resources and prepare for the exciting journey ahead. By following these steps, you'll be well-prepared to start your academic journey at UW.

Step 1

Visit WyoWeb to begin. Click "Obtain Username and Initial Password" and enter your last name, date of birth and W# (found in your admission letter). Your username and initial password will appear on the screen; note them down securely.

Step 2

Return to WyoWeb and click "Students" under the WyoRecords section. Log in using the credentials obtained in Step 1. Once logged in, you'll be prompted to change your password for enhanced security.

Step 3

After logging in, navigate to the "Confirm Enrollment" section. For first-year students entering in the fall, a $300 enrollment deposit is due by May 1 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Transfer students have varying deadlines based on their entry term. This deposit secures your place in the incoming class and is non-refundable after the specified deadlines.

Step 4

Once your enrollment is confirmed, WyoRecords will present additional tasks such as applying for housing, reviewing financial aid and taking placement exams. Completing these tasks ensures a smooth transition to UW.
