Welcome to Ashley Lair
RN, MSN
Assistant Lecturer
Beginning a new role
"I am excited to be back in Laramie and working in a completely different role!" says Ashley Lair. "Throughout my career I have enjoyed working with students and mentoring new nurses in various settings, and along with being back at UW, I am excited to have the opportunity to work with students every day.”
What do you hope to accomplish?
"This will be my first year in a faculty role," says Lair, "so I am hoping for a relatively smooth transition. I am looking forward to building rapport with students and becoming comfortable and competent as a faculty member.”
COVID-19
“COVID has presented a lot of challenges for us all," says Ashley. "It's been a very strange year. It was odd to go through an entirely virtual interview process. Finding a place to live in Laramie while trying to limit travel to and from Wyoming was a challenge. It will be interesting to see what the fall semester holds!”
About Lair
"One of my favorite things to do is explore new places outside with my dog usually by hiking, running, camping or backpacking, or cross country skiing," says Ashley Lair.
