An-online, self-paced, training course for front-line workers in Laramie
The CDX is an online, self-paced training program designed to provide workers in the
tourism and hospitality fields with the knowledge and skills you need to provide visitors
with accurate, timely, and important information and to help them have successful
visitor experiences in the greater Laramie area. If you are a server, a cashier, a
front desk clerk or attendant, a retail employee, a guide, or anyone who closely interfaces
with guests in the Laramie area, this training program is designed specifically for
you.
The course contains videos, readings, knowledge checks in the form of quizzes, and nine modules covering hospitality and customer service essentials, outdoor recreation, sports and education, arts and culture, history and western life, special events, food and beverage, and lodging.
Employers can use this course to supplement or enhance any internal training programs already offered. Organizations or companies can buy bulk registrations for their staff. This program is offered through the Jay Kemmerer WORTH Institute and Visit Laramie.
