The University of Wyoming welcomes prospective where you may be seeking higher education through various scenarios. Select the student category that best describes you to learn more about how to apply and your next steps through the admission process

Veteran Students

We are excited that you are considering the University of Wyoming and we thank you for your service! Enrolling at the UW is easy. Simply follow the steps below and let us help you reach your educational goals.

Returning Students

The application process for students who have previously attended UW and would like to return to attend undergraduate classes.

Second Bachelor's Degree Students

The application process for students who have already received a bachelor's degree from UW, or any other institution, and would like to earn another bachelor's degree.

Non-Degree Students

The application process for students that are not interested in pursuing a degree, but would like to enroll in a few courses on the Laramie campus.

High School GuestS

The application process for current high school seniors and juniors interested in taking college courses, while still attending high school (typically students from Laramie and Cheyenne).

UW Casper

The University of Wyoming Casper is a unique partnership between the university and Casper College. The center offers a variety of courses and degree programs taught in Casper to meet the academic needs of students in central Wyoming. Classes are small, courses are innovative, and an award-winning faculty provide unique learning experiences.

ONLINE STUDENTS

UW Online Education extends the University of Wyoming's educational programs to the people of the state of Wyoming and beyond with innovative distance learning programs and unique opportunities for learners of many ages, interests, locations, and motivations.
