High School Guest Students

Admissions


The application process for current high school seniors and juniors interested in taking college courses at the University of Wyoming, while still attending high school (typically students from Laramie and Cheyenne, Wyoming)

 

Admission Requirements:


The following requirements must be met in order for high school seniors and juniors to be considered for admission to UW as high school guests:

  • Complete a UW High School Guest Application as a Non-degree Seeking Undergraduate Student.

  • Have an official copy of the most recent high school transcript showing an overall GPA of at least 3.0 sent directly to the Admissions Office.

  • Submit a positive written recommendation from a high school counselor or principal.

  • Submit any available ACT or SAT scores.

  • Before being able to register for classes, students must submit a copy of their Immunization Records to Student Health Service. For more information about this requirement and to submit immunization records, please visit the Student Health Service Immunization website.


High school guests may take up to 6 credit hours per semester. Advising will be provided by the Advising, Career, and Exploratory Studies Center in 228 Knight Hall, (307) 766-2398.
